C'est vraiment trop bizard parce que d'un côté on est plutôt content, pressé d'être ce jour et d'un autre on est super tristeeeeeee que Matt se régénère!!

Mon Dieu j'ai tellement hâte, autant que d’ouvrir mes cadeaux !!! mais je sais que je vais pleurer comme un bébé, c'est frustrant! Je regarderai plus de la même façon, j’espère vraiment que Capaldi va tout déchirer!

Dans cet article, Matt exprime une nouvelles ses regrets d'avoir quitté la série, et il aurait du faire une autre saison avec Jenna car une véritable amitié s'est développée entre eux. L'interview est extrait des bonus de DVD de l'épisode de noel:
Matt Smith has admitted on a DVD extra for the Christmas Special that maybe he should of stayed another year on Doctor Who, as the chemistry was alot of fun with Jenna Coleman. “Part of me genuinely feels that I sort of wish we have had another go at it, another year because, I feel we have really come on and sort of evolved, We have had a good time making it. It’s been really fun to make it” he says of the episode. Jenna went on to joke “You dumped me,” in the DVD extra.

Un détail très intriguant, le résumé explique que le siège de Trenzalore aurait duré 900 ans, je croyais qu'il durait 400 ans c'est à dire qu'a la fin de l'épisode il 2100 ans!!! C'est beaucoup je trouve.

Karen Gillan parle de sa scène dans the Time of the Doctor, ou elle dit adieu à son raggedy Doctor:
Karen Gillan has explained how happy she was to make a cameo return for Matt Smith’s final moments in The Time of the Doctor.
Speaking at this month’s Sci Fi Expo panel, she said: “I was so happy! My agent phoned me and said, ‘They want you to come back to Doctor Who,’ and I was like ‘Yes!’ immediately.
“I think part of the reason that Steven Moffat wrote me into that scene was just so that Matt would have me around for his regeneration. And that was the nicest part for me, just to watch him do that, his final moments in the character.”
She later joked about the pair both wearing wigs during filming: “I keep imagining that scene but with both of us bald!”
How it all began – Gillan recently posted this rare test picture of Amy and the Doctor in costume. On the replacement of young Amelia, originally played by her cousin Caitlin Blackwood, she said: “Caitlin was too tall now, so they brought in a girl with really long hair and I just remember feeling so protective over the role that I was like, ‘No. The hair is wrong guys!”
Gillan said she found the experience of seeing Capaldi on set a strange experience: “It’s so weird just watching from the outside all of a sudden. I was thinking ‘This is their TARDIS now’. Then seeing Capaldi walk in the studio was funny because it was really dark inside and light outside so when he walked in the first time he was just this silhouette. I was like ‘Oh my god!’ as he came towards us dressed in the Doctor’s clothes.”
